Public bug reported:
KDE/Plasma - the Default Apps list is empty and has nothing in the drop
down lists. Whenever a link or attachment is clicked on Plasma presents
a Choose Application window that has no applications. Using the Other
button works, sometimes, for one instance, but isn't stored.
