What I did was installing the package http://data.likide.homelinux.org/hal-sony-lcd-wa_0.2-2_amd64.deb, then moved the file modified by yleetiny to /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/10osvendor/10-sony-laptop-panel-mgmt-policy.fdi, as he said. Is there perhaps something I forgot?
