I've added the HWE kernel (7.0.0-31-generic; though there's an upgrade
waiting to be installed). Bluetooth works without problems in this
kernel. That has an advantage over moving back to 138 because,
presumably, they've fixed security vulnerabilities. Instructions to
install HWE are here: https://ubuntu.com/kernel/docs/reference/hwe-
kernels/#installing-a-hwe-kernel

HWE also solves another problem in 139 for me -- I was unable to resume
from hibernation. On the other hand, it introduced a problem, endless
error messages of "ACPI Error: Aborting method \_GPE.PL6E due to
previous error (AE_NOT_FOUND)" that fill up my / directory (error occurs
after hibernate, wake, suspend, wake). I 'fixed' this by adding
acpi_mask_gpe=0x6E to my grub cmdline. So far, I've seen no problems
from the mask.
