Hi, I also would like to reopen this issue. I am using Void Linux, with the as-received stock kernels.
I am using a Thinkpad T14s Gen 2, with AMD AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U. I am on BIOS R1NET67W (1.37), the latest version. My Kernel version is 7.2.6. During startup, I am getting the typical issue with the arbitration: [ 4.553370] i2c_designware AMDI0010:02: i2c_dw_handle_tx_abort: lost arbitration then a handfull of: [ 5.565659] i2c_designware AMDI0010:02: controller timed out [ 6.589640] i2c_designware AMDI0010:02: controller timed out This is persistent across reboots, safe mode, etc. This happens to me every boot, and is not resolved by the rmmod i2c_designware i2c_hid_acpi i2c_hid -> suspend -> modprobe i2c_designware i2c_hid_acpi suggested fix. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2072612 Title: Lenovo touchpad intermittently stops working with i2c_designware errors To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/2072612/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
