Let me describe my home network: 1) Static IP 2) Restricted & Protected with WPA2 key Now comes my problems. 1) i set all the settings in System > Administration > Network. i used the following settings - IP:192.168.1.1 + IP:192.168.1.4 subnet: 255.255.255.0 Default gateway:192.168.1.1 Network key type: WPA2 network key: duh! should i mention this :p After giving all the settings,i close the network windows, strangely still it does not connect :S. so i to check if I correctly entered the settings. I open System>adminstation>network again, and found that, Network key Type: WPA(i remember i had set it to WPA2 ) Network Key: the length is increased(don't know if the key got changed , as i can't see it :D) now after this irritating correction & I am able to connect. :) 2) Same exercise i explained above it to be done upon every reboot , so its very irritating & wastes my precious time :( Thanks For taking pain of reading this poorly written bug report( I know i suck as writing bug reports) Regards Gaurish
