Public bug reported:
After updating openshot-qt on Python 3.14, the application fails to
launch due to an unresolved relative import error in
openshot_qt/launch.py.
Because Python 3.14 strictly handles relative imports, launch.py cannot
locate qt_api when executed via /usr/bin/openshot-qt.

Steps to Reproduce:
Install openshot-qt on a system running Python 3.14.
Launch openshot-qt via terminal or application menu.
Workaround / Fix:
Adding /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/openshot_qt to sys.path (or launching
with PYTHONPATH=/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/openshot_qt openshot-qt)
resolves the import issue and allows the GUI to start normally.
