I see that this bug's importance is set to medium, when there is plenty of duplicates of this bug and thousands of people effected which should increase its importance. I think a High importance or even critical importance would be more appropriate since this bug has plagued launchpad through every release of ubuntu and can be fixed simply by implementing the serial monkey drivers
