IMPORTANT! Please note that I have to always boot my Ubuntu24.04 with kernel 6.17 and it is the newest kernel I have that works
7.0.0-28 and 7.0.0-30 arrived as part of a routine "apt upgrade" and became the default boot entry. I have not tested any 7.0.0-2x releases below -28, so I cannot narrow the regression window further than 6.17.0-40..7.0.0-28. Affected devices, all dead on 7.0: - Ajazz AK820 Pro (wired, on 0000:10:00.0) - Logitech Wave Keys (wireless receiver, on 0000:12:00.0) - Logitech MX Master 3S (wireless, same receiver) With no working keyboard or mouse I cannot pass the login screen on 7.0, so the system is effectively unbootable on that kernel -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2165193 Title: All USB dead on 7.0.0-30: chipset USB controllers [1022:43fd] fail PCI BAR assignment, works on 6.17.0-40 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-7.0/+bug/2165193/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
