All autopkgtest failures are bogus. Speaking of verification, as noted
in the past (LP: #2138637, comment 3), there is no well defined
verification plan for this change that we periodically do. Things I
tested:

* debdiff to verify that we only touched the mirror list and version string
* builds pass, and there are build-time tests
* I performed a resolute->stonking do-release-upgrade upgrade and it worked 
fine.
