debian used to have something like: grep fuse /etc/modules > /dev/null 2>&1 || echo "fuse" >> /etc/modules in former packages, when i merged the package i relied on them doing the right thing there to not have regressions ... apparently i was wrong. next fuse upload will have that line again, sorry for the oversight :)
