The Resolute autopkgtest failure appears unrelated to this update. I reproduced the same gnocchi-metricd worker startup failure in a clean Resolute LXD container using the current archive packages, without enabling -proposed
- 4.7.0+git2026012910.795f8f24-0ubuntu1 The metricd master process starts, but no workers are spawned because Python 3.14’s forkserver path attempts to pickle an oslo.config ConfigOpts object and raises PicklingError. This therefore appears to be a pre-existing issue rather than a regression caused by the proposed package. I am preparing a separate fix for upstream, but further validation is needed because upstream Gnocchi CI currently does not cover Python 3.14. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2148798 Title: gnocchi-metricd enters permanent crash loop on LZ4BlockError from truncated Carbonara object To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cloud-archive/+bug/2148798/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
