Since this bug is mainly about failing to resume from sleep, that's more
to do with the kernel advertising modes slightly beyond the ability of
the HDMI port (sometimes, when it thinks there's more bandwidth).

I don't think Mutter's advertising fake modes is really an issue here
because your original 3840x2160x60Hz mode is real as far as the LG
monitor is concerned. It's only the laptop's HDMI port that can't quite
do it (sometimes).
