No crash — /var/crash has nothing from mutter or xdg-desktop-portal, and there are no matching coredumps. This is a hang, not a crash, which is why I attached a live backtrace (portal-bt.txt) taken with gdb while the portal was wedged.
Should an xdg-desktop-portal task be added to this bug? The process whose main loop deadlocks is /usr/libexec/xdg-desktop-portal (1.21.1+ds-1ubuntu3) — the frontend, not mutter or xdg-desktop-portal-gnome.
