After further testing, this bug report was filed based on an incorrect
diagnosis and should be closed as Invalid.
The audio failure in the previous session was caused by failed driver debugging
attempts (rmmod/sysfs rebind of snd_hda_scodec_cs35l41 that left the HDA stack
in an EBUSY state), not by a kernel regression in 7.0.0-28.
On a clean boot, kernel 7.0.0-28 works correctly with options
snd_hda_scodec_cs35l41 firmware_autostart=0. Both CS35L41 amps bind
successfully (FW EN: 0, no PUP_DONE_MASK errors), audio plays through speakers,
and suspend/resume works without audio loss.
The firmware_autostart=0 workaround remains necessary (the underlying VSPK
dummy regulator issue for SSID 10431A63 is tracked separately). But 7.0.0-28
introduces no new regression.
Marking Invalid.
