I tested the packages from the ubuntu-security-proposed PPA (freerdp3 3.30.0+dfsg-0ubuntu0.26.04.2) on Ubuntu 26.04 (resolute) with GNOME Remote Desktop, connecting from Windows mstsc.
Clipboard now works correctly in both directions: - Large transfer (an ISO file) Windows→Ubuntu and Ubuntu→Windows - Small files both directions - Plain text both directions The cliprdr channel no longer dies, and the ChannelPduTracker_poll: chunk size ... is too big error is gone from the gnome-remote-desktop logs. The fix works for me — please go ahead with the regression update. Thanks! (Minor unrelated note: during file transfers I see repeated [cliprdr_server_receive_pdu]: CB_FILECONTENTS_RESPONSE ... N bytes not parsed warnings, but transfers complete fine — looks cosmetic and unrelated to this regression.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2161573 Title: Clipboard broken in gnome-remote-desktop after freerdp3 update to 3.30.0: cliprdr channel thread dies with "ChannelPduTracker_poll: chunk size is too big" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/freerdp/+bug/2161573/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
