Public bug reported:
Ubuntu 26.04, GNOME on Wayland
Package: papers 50.1-0ubuntu1.1
Printer: HP LaserJet P2055dn
When printing a PDF whose page size is larger than A4, the print dialog
provides only a manually entered scale percentage.
At 100%, only the upper-left part of the document is printed. There is
no automatic option such as:
- Fit to printable area
- Shrink oversized pages
- Actual size
- Custom scale
The same document prints correctly from the command line with:
lp -d HP-LaserJet-P2055dn -o media=A4 -o fit-to-page document.pdf
Expected result:
The print dialog should provide an automatic “Fit to printable area” option so
that oversized PDF pages are scaled to the selected paper size.
Actual result:
The user must manually guess the correct percentage.
