Hi gjbauer, Thanks for taking the time to submit a bug report and help improve Ubuntu!
Since based on your testing this is resolved in upstream Linux, it would help to narrow down the fix to a specific fix version. Please try mainline builds from here: https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline/?C=N;O=D. Instructions for using mainline builds can be found on this wiki page: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/MainlineBuilds. I would recommend trying the v7.1 build to see if it is resolved in the v7.1 release tag, and v7.0.14 to see if recent v7.0.x stable updates might include the fix. There is also a new Ubuntu kernel tag Ubuntu-7.0.0-28.28 that contains several v7.0.x upstream stable update patchsets, which may resolve your issue. A build of this kernel exists in the following PPA: https://launchpad.net/~canonical-kernel-team/+archive/ubuntu/ppa. If you try this pre-release build, be sure to remove the PPA from your system when you are finished testing. Please also include the head commit of the upstream 7.1.0+ build you found resolved the issue to further narrow down the fix. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2154536 Title: Firefox crashes system and reboots on certain webpages To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/2154536/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
