I am ok if we decide to let qemu enables KSM by default for all VMs and just influence the feature activation at the kernel layer.
If we go this route, I have a preference for the option B since there is no value for QEMU to play with the system-wide KSM configuration. We just have to let the administrator/users do it since it is also quite straightforward.
