I think the fix is incomplete. Since this package was shipping /etc/xdg/lxqt/panel.conf, it is considered a conffile by default by dpkg:

This package contains the LXQt panel. Homepage: https://github.com/lxqt/lxqt-panel Hence, as-is, it will not be removed when upgrading lxqt-panel, which may cause further issues later. Normally in these cases, I would expect to see a corresponding debian/lxqt-panel.maintscript with something like: rm_conffile /etc/xdg/lxqt/panel.conf 2.3.2-0ubuntu1.1~ or mv_conffile /etc/xdg/lxqt/panel.conf /usr/share/lxqt/panel.conf 2.3.2-0ubuntu1.1~ if you want it to be considered a conffile by dpkg still. See [1] for details. Please decide what would be best here, and re-upload with that change.
