Public bug reported:

I enabled Desktop Sharing and Remote Login from Settings UI. When i
tried to login from another pc i got this issue, however if i connected
via Desktop sharing it worked. I checked the gnome-remote-desktop
service and found this message:[RDP] Username is not set, denying client
So i restarted the service, and after that remote login worked. I did
another test, i changed user's pwd for remote login, and the problem
happened again until i restarted the service. So it looks like the
service needs to be restarted after every change made on that settings
page. I would not call this a bug, but I would suggest adding a warning
that the service needs to be restarted after making changes on that
page, so that less experienced users know what to do. Just a
suggestion. Keep up the good work!
