0. The exact manual text location this report is about:
`man add-apt-repository`, OPTIONS section `-n --no-update` entry.
1. The current man page text reads:
"After adding the repository, do not update the package cache."
Since only "adding" is enumerated, this may lead to incorrect interpretation
that the omission of "removing" in this section is intentional, and this option
having no effect when paired with `-r --remove`:
- removing packages always updates package cache (`-n --no-update` ignored), or
- removing packages never updated package cache (`-n --no-update` ignored)
2. The current application behavior:
As verified on my system: the `-n --no-update` option works and
correctly suppresses package cache update when paired with `-r --remove`
option, and does not do so when `-n --no-update` option is not supplied.
3. Suggested revised wording:
"After adding or removing the repository, do not update the package cache."
(Diff: " or removing")
