lloyd, According to openprinting.org (http://openprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=Lexmark-Z730) this printer is a winprinter and a paperweight on Linux because no drivers are available. It shouldn't be recognized by Ubuntu. Is this printer still recognized with Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy), if so please attach the output of the printingbug info script (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PrintingBugInfoScript).
