I did the test in a fresh noble VM. apport-cli 2.28.1-0ubuntu3.8 crashed. The test worked after updating to 2.28.2-0ubuntu0.1 from noble-proposed. Here is the resulting report: https://bugs.qastaging.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chaos- marmosets/+bug/2143345 (atm qastaging UI seems to be broken).
