Comment 2 SEETEENA THOUFEEK 2026-03-27 06:44:05 CDT

I had posted a v2 [1] base on the updates on the GCC bug and upstream review.
The patch has also been tested by Venkat.

Comment 3 Raman Singh 2026-04-20 00:14:10 CDT

The patch is in ppc-next now and should be included in the next PR

https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/powerpc/linux.git/commit/?h=next&id=6e65886fceb23605eff952d6b1975737b4c4b154

The patch is in upstream Linux now:

6e65886fceb2 ("selftests/powerpc: Suppress -Wmaybe-uninitialized with
GCC 15")

** Changed in: ubuntu
Assignee: (unassigned) => Ubuntu on IBM Power Systems Bug Triage
(ubuntu-power-triage)

** Package changed: ubuntu => linux (Ubuntu)
