This is not a bug with the kernel. You are trying to install the Nvidia
575.xx driver and related components. The Nvidia 575.xx driver was a
"short-term" branch that should not be used now. It was never patched
for the 6.17.x kernel because it is obsolete.
Use Nvidia 580.xx or 595.xx driver instead.
