hello, the problem is... because the problems i have not installes ubuntu yet. now i using debian without a problem. the file must be the same which is on the ubuntu live cd, because when i boot from the live cd no picture is shown. the video hardware was dedectet correctly, because when i switch to another mode (with strg alt +) everything is correct. but i think the system wants to use the highest avaiabla video mode and the monitor is not detectet correctly. i have 15" siemens tft.
