The sound card and front panel controller bay are Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum. Just found an addendum insert in the setup guide mentioning user must upgrade Quick Time. Reads "... issue has been resolved in Quick Time 7.0.3. Earlier QT versions are not affected." I'm assuming it refers to Windows versions of QT. Wondering if it affects Ubuntu or if Quick Time version does matter?
