There is an even simpler solution for this problem. Un-patch firefox so
it does what it's suppose to do and allow it to always be able to
download the latest flash plugin and install it. This gives you what
comment 117 talks about and it does work because it has always worked
with firefox until it was decided to take this ability away for some
reason.

Do that and this problem only exists for browsers that don't have the
built in functionality to download and install the flash plugin and rely
on the user installing the flash package or downloading it from adobe.
This also fixes the problem that people have that make them think
firefox is the only browser that exists (it isn't by a long shot).
