A couple of further notes on wording: I suggest sticking to statements of fact known to be true at the moment, rather than anticipating the future. "until NVIDIA offers support for these newer kernels on Orin-class hardware" sets user expectations that may not come to pass in Ubuntu.
"NVIDIA does not provide support for running a distribution other than Jammy on Tegra Orin yet" also makes an implicit commitment, and even becomes an incorrect statement as soon as they do and prior to Ubuntu supporting it, if at all. For messaging inside the Ubuntu archive, it's best just to say "not supported on Ubuntu" I think. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2143334 Title: [SRU] Block do-release-upgrade from Tegra Orin To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/2143334/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
