Closing as I don't know anymore which package is providing the profile.d
scripts.
In a Ubuntu Server 24.04 VM, logging in via TTY, there was no debuginfo
prompt upon `gdb sleep`. Since the issue affects TTY now, which sources
.profile, this is no longer just a gdm3 problem.
