Public bug reported:

For the past several days, every time I've sat down at my desk and tried
to unlock the screen, I've found both of my monitors off and
unresponsive. No keyboard and mouse activity I tried turned the screens
back on, and even Ctrl-Alt-Fx is ineffective at getting a response. In
order to recover, I've found it necessary to ssh in from a remote
machine, and `killall kscreenlocker_greet`; this immediately causes both
monitors to wake up and present me with the unlock screen I expect. (As
soon as I unlock, I'm also presented with a dialog to report a
Thunderbird crash; I realize this is offtopic for a plasma bug but I
mention it because it's 100% correlated.) Not sure if it's relevant to
reproduction, but I do often switch off my monitors with a power strip
while the screen is locked, and turn them on prior to attempting unlock.
Perhaps kscreenlocker is getting wedged by the change in monitor
configuration while it's active? This is a new experience for me though
only a few days old. I have rebooted and pulled apt updates in that
time to no effect. I updated from 24.04 to 25.10 a few weeks ago, and
I'm pretty sure it worked ok for a while since that upgrade before
starting to fail. I also had no problems like this in 24.04 with either
xorg or wayland plasma desktops.
