Hi Alex, I tried to read around to understand how we can debug this
issue but, if there is no log line, I think it can boil down to
something related to timings in the DisplayPort protocol or something
like that (beware, gut feeling).
When the monitors do not automatically turn on, could you try to run
xrandr --auto
This command should force the GPU to re-probe all the downstream
connected monitors. This would tell us if it's a software handshake
issue. Let's start from there.
