Public bug reported: Hello, I am experiencing a complete loss of audio on my new ASUS 天选 2026 (Model: FA401E). Both the internal speakers and the microphone are not recognized.
Symptoms: In System Settings -> Sound, the only available output device is "Dummy Output". No input devices are listed for the microphone. This issue occurs on a fresh installation of Ubuntu [Your Ubuntu Version, e.g., 24.04 LTS]. Hardware Specs: Laptop: ASUS FA401E (2026 Model) CPU: AMD RYZEN AI MAX+ 392 w/ Radeon™ 8060S × 24 Audio: Likely Realtek/ALSA based, but not detected. I have checked alsamixer and only the "Pipewire" or "Dummy" card shows up. I suspect it might be a missing firmware (SOF) or a kernel compatibility issue with this new hardware.
