I've got the same issue. In my document I am able to recover by: - opening the navigator - navigate to "Graphics" - right-click on "Graphic 1" - choose graphic>edit>original size. The image will reappear.
In Marco's document it's not possible for me to recover by resizing the image. I am not sure, whether it's the same issue or not. By simply creating a document with only one image, I can't reproduce the error. Maybe the error appears only in complex or larger documents with a lot of images? Maybe it's caused by using a ".dot" document as boilerplate? I use: * oo 2.3.0-1ubuntu5.3 * Gutsy (upgraded from feisty fawn). * all images are png * all images have cations * german language settings * document has been created from ".dot" boiler template.
