Pedro Almeida : To avoid problems, you should probably wait for a eventual backport of openoffice 2.3.1 to gutsy, or for the final Hardy release which will be released in April. If you need support and help with the actual openoffice version, you can post a question here : https://answers.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/ or join the #ubuntu channel with Xchat on freenode servers to see if someone can help you with your questions.
