The segmentation fault is reproducible using the command line from the crash
report.
Interestingly, the directory path is relevant. When I copy the image to my home
directory, identify does not crash:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ identify -ping
/home/albert/devel/opensg/opensg-1.8.0/Doc/Images/text-txf.eps.gz
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ cp
/home/albert/devel/opensg/opensg-1.8.0/Doc/Images/text-txf.eps.gz .
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ identify text-txf.eps.gz
/tmp/magick-XXSnVw2w EPT 653x270 653x270+0+0 DirectClass 696kb
