The crash report from DpkgTermianLog.txt shows the following issue, which
indicates being a duplicate of bug #2107448:
"""
Setting up libvirt-daemon-system (10.0.0-2ubuntu8.8) ...
useradd warning: libvirt-qemu's uid 64055 is greater than SYS_UID_MAX 999
Default libvirt network on 192.168.122.1/24 already taken
Changing to free 192.168.123.1/24
sed: can't read /etc/libvirt/qemu/networks/default.xml: No such file or
directory
[1mdpkg:[0m error processing package libvirt-daemon-system (--configure):
installed libvirt-daemon-system package post-installation script subprocess
returned error exit status 2
"""
Can you please try installing the "libvirt-daemon-config-network"
package and see if this solves the issue for you?
OTOH, This network configuration issue does not really match the issue
from the bug description. So I wonder if you could provide a more
specific error message (or stack trace) from the crash reported above?
** Summary changed:
- package libvirt-daemon-system 10.0.0-2ubuntu8.8 failed to install/upgrade:
installed libvirt-daemon-system package post-installation script subprocess
returned error exit status 2
+ package libvirt-daemon-system 10.0.0-2ubuntu8.8 failed to install/upgrade:
can't read /etc/libvirt/qemu/networks/default.xml: No such file or directory
** Changed in: libvirt (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Incomplete
