Btw I have this bug too. Mine is with gutsy amd64 on a Dell Latitude D630, connected to a 802.11bg access point with WPA. It is the same as the bug of the original poster though, the one about the connection being veeeery slow (works fine on XP on the same computer and on other computers) and having lots of dropped packets. It's very annoying - I can't really use wireless and the iwpriv command does not do anything.
As I believe someone posted above, there seem to be people with two different bugs on this one "bug report", both with the same # (mine is the same as the original posters I believe but the linked upstream bug is actually the other bug about losing speed after a while).
