Why are you still using evdi-dkms 1.14.2+dfsg-1ubuntu1.1 ?
6.14 compatibility was fixed with evdi-dkms 1.14.2+dfsg-1ubuntu1.2 and you
should have received this update through normal updates ( bug 2110937 )
