Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: syslog-ng

Everyone seems to treat the removal of Ubuntu metapackages a bit
nonchalantly, but I can't in my present circumstances.

Ubuntu-minimal should depend on some virtual package, such as syslogd or
system-log-daemon.

Sysklogd, which is an explicit dependency in ubuntu-minimal, provides
"syslogd, system-log-daemon" and replaces "syslogd." syslog-ng provides
"system-log-daemon, linux-kernel-log-daemon." It should also provide
"syslogd" and replace "syslogd."

Ubuntu-minimal should probably depend on "sysklogd | system-log-daemon
(or even syslogd)".

In my work environment, I need ubuntu-minimal itself and syslog-ng.
There is no current way of having them cohabitate.

** Affects: syslog-ng (Ubuntu)
