I'm also hit by this issue and I'm having the same laptop and CPU as this 
comment https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=218305#c84. In that similar 
bug report, it appears that a patch was already submitted - 
https://lore.kernel.org/platform-driver-x86/[email protected]/T/#e174cfe2f4ec5893e39cff6994a93ebd499ec29e7
 . The patch is very simple (three lines of code).

I'm heavily relying on the suspend/resume feature, so the question is:
how quickly can the patch be applied and backported to the latest Ubuntu
LTS 24.04?

Meanwhile, since I'm on the brink of switching to Windows, I'll try to
apply the patch to a local custom kernel build!
