We will need to see more information about the system. Please:
1. Add COGL_DEBUG=winsys to /etc/environment
2. Reboot.
3. Log into GNOME.
4. Run:
sudo apt install mesa-utils
journalctl -b0 > journal.txt
eglinfo > eglinfo-all.txt
5. Attach the resulting text files here.
