Thanks Seeteena and Amit, I can see that this was brought upstream, and is tagged since next-20250317 in linux-next (no kernel version tag yet). And it is also marked as upstream stable fix: Fixes: f431a8cde7f1 ("powerpc/iommu: Reimplement the iommu_table_group_ops f or pSeries") Cc: sta...@vger.kernel.org
Since the commit that is fixed is f431a8cde7f1, which is upstream with kernel 6.11, and 6.11 is the kernel version used in 24.10/oracular, the affected Ubuntu versions this needs to be SRUed to are oracular/24.10 and plucky/25.04. Hence I mark these versions as affected. ** Package changed: kernel-package (Ubuntu) => linux (Ubuntu) ** Also affects: linux (Ubuntu Oracular) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: linux (Ubuntu Plucky) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Ubuntu on IBM Power Systems Bug Triage (ubuntu-power-triage) Status: New ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu Oracular) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu Plucky) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu Oracular) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu Plucky) Status: New => Triaged ** Also affects: ubuntu-power-systems Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: ubuntu-power-systems Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: ubuntu-power-systems Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: ubuntu-power-systems Assignee: (unassigned) => Ubuntu on IBM Power Systems Bug Triage (ubuntu-power-triage) ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu Plucky) Assignee: Ubuntu on IBM Power Systems Bug Triage (ubuntu-power-triage) => (unassigned) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2104893 Title: WARNING: CPU: 18 PID: 3683 at arch/powerpc/kvm/../../../virt/kvm/vfio.c Call Traces seen when pci device is detached from the kvm guest To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-power-systems/+bug/2104893/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
