Danilo created a RFC pull-request for upstream Netplan to take a look at: https://github.com/canonical/netplan/pull/519
Applying what we partially learned form the workarounds described above, i.e. setting "keep-configuration=no". But is a rather impactfull change that modifies behavior of the whole system. It doesn't sound right to do this IMHO. I'd rather say upstream Netplan needs a refactoring of its NetworkManager connection-profile naming scheme, as described in comment #9 as that is causing issues elswere as well, e.g. LP: #2098093 ** Summary changed: - NetworkManager crashes when modifying connection (ipv4.ignore-auto-routes yes) + NetworkManager crashes when modifying connection (ipv4.ignore-auto-routes yes) -- using forticlient SSL-VPN -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2089930 Title: NetworkManager crashes when modifying connection (ipv4.ignore-auto- routes yes) -- using forticlient SSL-VPN To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/netplan/+bug/2089930/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
