It is still broken on 24.04 / noble. My workaround of the day that fixes
it is:

```
/usr/share/lua/5.3/lpeg_patterns $ sudo ln -s ../../5.1/lpeg_patterns/*.lua .
/usr/share/lua/5.3 $ sudo ln -s ../5.1/basexx.lua
/usr/share/lua/5.3 $ sudo ln -s ../5.1/fifo.lua
```

This is outdated packaging in at least lua-lpeg-patterns, lua-fifo and
lua-basexx , maybe I'll dive into the Debian bug tracker as those things
are kept up-to date there. :/
