------- Comment From fr...@ibm.com 2025-03-25 11:40 EDT------- Short summary of current status/conclusions:
* install on lvm without /boot seems not supported starting with Ubuntu 20.04 * Ubuntu 18.04 seems to have allowed an install (default?) with lvm with no extra /boot * since Ubuntu 18 will not be used/installed anymore I will propose and will close this bug as not relevant anymore. I also discussed this briefly with Pawel. ------- Comment From fr...@ibm.com 2025-03-25 11:40 EDT------- Not relevant anymore. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2024901 Title: [UBUNTU 20.04] Unsupported setup: Directory '/boot' is located on a multi-target device-mapper device To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-z-systems/+bug/2024901/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
