@Gauthier. Thank you for looking into this issue. Since it seems that both Ubuntu Mate and Ubuntu Unity are affected, it could be a could idea for the dev team to find out how displaying the menu is different under Mate and Unity, and why they don’t show currently. It is possible that Unity is not actively removing the Sound Converter menu, but rather that the Sound Converter doesn’t meet these two Ubuntu versions’ requirements. I’ve subscribed Unity’s both lead devs to this bug report.
