After restarting the computer I checked things again. It is not so good as I wrote above. I was not patient enough to watch the bluetooth button for a sufficient time. The behavior (upon clicking the button in the On state) is:
The button gets the pale colour, keeps is for about 1-2 seconds and then gets the deep colour again. So, it looks that a click on the bluetooth button has the effect of RESTARTING bluetooth device instead of switching it off. Contrary to yesterday, the colour of the airplane mode button remains unaffected. My Wi-Fi is permanently off during these tests today. The command-line action works as expected - even the Off --> On switching works and it is correctly indicated by the bluetooth button colour. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2103923 Title: bluetooth cannot be turned off on Lenovo ThinkPad P16 Gen3 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bluez/+bug/2103923/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
