I can still reproduce the AppArmor violation with both the reproducer here as well as with cockpit's TestJournal.testLogLevel test that originally caused me to report this. I updated to -3ubuntu9.1 from noble-proposed, and I confirm that everything works as advertised -- no more AA violations, and messages are correctly logged. Thanks!
