Yes. That is exactly what is happening. > When this happens, how long does it last? It stops after a while (but I don't know exactly how many minues). I would say 30min - till I close all the hterminal tabs. It does not occur, if I open a new terminal window while it is happening. > If you move the mouse pointer back to the terminal tab, is it blinking way > too rapidly again? No, it only blinks rapidly when the mouse pointer is on the tab area. When I move it way from there, blinking becomes normal (I assume 1/second) > therefore the text insertion cursor moves to a new cell? I've never tried that. I will try the next time it happens. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2097620 Title: anomal blinking of a cursor in terminal To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/2097620/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
